Description
Lot #488.1 - This fabulous 1965 Mustang convertible was the recipient of a full restoration in 2000. It was finished to correct factory spec in its original, seldom seen Caspian Blue paint with white softtop and Parchment interior and powered by the original C Code, 200hp 289 V8 with C4 automatic transmission. In addition to the drivetrain, other optional features include 14" styled steel wheels, power steering, power operated top, full length center console, rear seat belts, back-up lamps, sun visors and the Visibility Group, which includes the day/night rear view mirror, remote driver side mirror and 2-speed wipers. The car rolls on radial white walls for a better driving experience and in the restoration, a GT cut-away rear valance and trumpet exhausts were added. The car has been immaculately kept and sparingly driven since completion and remains in ready-to-show condition throughout.
