Description
Lot #488 - First year Camaros are seen in a multitude of color and trim offerings and one of the rarest offered and seldom seen is the very striking and attractive combination seen here. The exterior color of Butternut Yellow is far from rare but coupled with the matching Pearl Yellow deluxe interior suddenly makes for one beautiful and unique car. The Camaro in 1967 introduced the small block Chevy as a 350cid motor, its largest displacement to date and this Camaro features that powertrain as an SS 350 and even further equipped with the Rally Sport package. Very well optioned including factory air conditioning and rare features such as fold-down rear seat and power windows, this is one very special first generation Camaro. This is a matching numbers, well documented car that has just undergone a complete restoration by George Lyons and his crew in Erie, PA. George purchased this car as a totally rust-free untampered with original direct from and entire lifetime spent in Southern California. The car runs, drives and performs as good as it looks having been mechanically sorted since completion this past summer.
