Lot #634 - It took over two years for Bryan Cope to complete the build of this 2nd Generation 1970 Camaro Z/28 custom Pro-Street eliminator. It was built to drive as well as it looks. This masterpiece won the 1st place award for Craftsmanship and 2nd place overall in Car Craft magazine's Real Street Eliminator contest, was on the cover of both Car Craft and Hot Rodding magazine, had feature magazine stories in both publications and was spotlighted on the Popular Hot Rodding magazine calendar. Basic mechanical specs of the build include the balanced and blueprinted 377cid bowtie small block, Canfield offset aluminum heads, roller rockers, Victor Jr. port matched to the heads and modified by Rance fuel injection, Holley 1000 throttle body, Bank to Bank ECU, MSD ignition, BorgWarner Z/28 T56 manual 6-speed transmission, Currie 9" rear end with 4.56 True-Trac posi-traction, 31 spline axles, Martz subframe, Aldan coilovers, 1" sway bar, Cat-5 rear springs with spherical bushings, QA1 2-way adjustable shocks, 13" Wilwood 6-piston calipers, Simmonds FR 3-piece wheels, 17x9 in the front and 17x11 in the rear. The cabin interior has been sealed in Dynamat and upgraded with Sparco racing seats, steering wheel, racing belts, full gauges, superior sound system and even Vintage Air conditioning. This classic is as much fun to drive as it is to look at. Awards not included.
