Lot #798 - Presenting a beautiful example of a rare 1960 Chevrolet C-10 Apache custom pickup that is considered the Crown Jewel of the '60-'66 C-10 series. It has some fabrication work and many upgrades making it a very unique classic show truck. This was a true body-off restoration and the attention to detail is evident. It has great body lines, gaps and beautiful Imron White paint. Everything on this truck has been restored or replaced. The bumper brackets were fabricated and bumpers were fitted to the body for a smooth look. The bed has a custom floor and the inner metal has been Rhino-lined which makes it a usable bed. The tailgate was fabricated by deleting the stake holes and handle and Chevrolet was embossed in the tailgate. The truck has a great stance and sits on custom one-of-a-kind 17" Boyd Coddington aluminum wheels. The exterior is complimented with a beautiful gray and black interior. The entire inside of the cab is painted in a rich looking dark metallic gray. The custom seats were made for this truck by Luxliner. The seats are black leather with dual buckets and a center console that serves as storage or lifts up to become a third seat. Some other interior upgrades include a custom instrument bezel with Auto Meter gauges and a Billet Specialties steering wheel. The engine compartment is nicely detailed with gloss black paint and the hood hinges, hood latches, fan, battery tray and radiator cover were all hot jet coated and polished. It houses the Chevrolet 350cid V8 engine which is dressed with modern valve covers with stacks and a lot of accessories. It breathes through new Sanderson ceramic coated shorty headers and a complete Magnaflow exhaust system that sounds great. The engine is coupled with a Turbo 400 automatic transmission with B&M shifter. The undercarriage is clean and neat. It has many other upgrades including power steering, Optima battery, Wilwood master cylinder and GMC 11" front disc brakes, suspension and a custom built 20 gallon gas tank which was installed under the bed.
