Lot #729 - Killer cool Deco Rides 1939 Lincoln Zephyr. Deco Rides was founded by former Car Craft and Hot Rod magazine editor Terry Cook and their cars have been shown all over the world including some of the best concours events and auto museums. This car in particular was displayed at SEMA, invited to the Rodeo Drive and Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance shows, and appeared in the TV shows Rides and Steel Dreams. Only the best parts were used in the build including full Fatman Fabrications frame, Mustang II front end, 350cid small block decked out in chrome with tuned port fuel injection prepared by Street and Performance Inc., 700R4 transmission, power steering, power brakes and Ford rear end. It also features an Air Ride Technologies Ride Pro air bag system adjustable on all four corners allowing the car to be raised or lowered to achieve that perfect stance. The luxury continues inside with a full custom interior featuring Dakota Digital gauges siting inside the handmade dash and console, tilt wheel, Vintage Air, remote door poppers, power trunk lid with trunk finished to match the interior, power windows, power driver's seat and folding Hartz convertible top. This rolling piece of art is finished off in gorgeous Pearl White paint completing the rich and timeless look. The "Suicide Blonde" has been in some of the best private collections in the country.
