Lot #48 - This car is an unrestored true survivor and was a one family owned automobile. 218cid, 6-cylinder with 3-speed manual transmission and optional heater. Car was purchased new in Yerington, NV after the end of World War II. This is an early production 1946 due to location of VIN tag on right side door jam. The car was always garaged and maintained by Hillegas Gas Station in town which is now a museum. The car lived in Nevada for 40 years until the owners relocated to Southern California. The car has remained with the family until a few weeks ago. Included with the car are service records and receipts, owner's books, original early Nevada license plates and past registrations. The car has had its upholstery updated in the mid 80's, lights, switchs and gauges on this car works, brakes were serviced, oil changed and the car was detailed. Driving this car is like going back in time.
