Lot #332 - The Pembleton is a design theme from the 1920-30s British open-wheeled race cars. Rarely seen in the world, much less in the United States, these cars are built from hand crafted aluminum that is then riveted around a space age chassis. The motor, gearbox, steering and suspension components are from a 1978 Citroen 2CV donor car that have been mounted to the Pembleton Brooklands kit. Those components were mounted to an all steel welded lightweight space frame. The body is aluminum panels hand riveted and bonded to the frame. The wheels are 48 spoke 4"x15" wire wheels such as found on MGAs and TR3s. This car was built in 2010. **TITLED AS A 1978 CITR**
