Lot #406 - This Jeep was in Four Wheeler magazine and competed in the 2005 Top Truck Challenge. This Jeep was built to handle extreme terrain while still maintaining its street ability, as it is street legal. There are many modifications made to this TJ, which include 5" added to the frame to create a longer wheel base and make room for the big Mickey Thompson Baja Claw 46" tires. The rear bumper and the rocker panel protection are by Creative Engineering, and the front stinger bumper winch mount is a collection of Currie and Creative Engineering components. The custom coil/four-link front suspension has 8" of lift and a full complement of Johnny joints and spherical rod ends to ensure flexibility. The steering system includes a custom high steer kit and AGR hydraulic assist. The axles have Detroit Lockers and 35-spline shafts with disc brakes. This Jeep is powered by a Chevy OHV 375hp, 425ft/lbs 383cid V8 engine. Holley intake manifold, Holley Stealth Ram MPFI, ceramic coated headers, 2.5" exhaust and an el-cheapo muffler. The power is routed through a Turbo 400 transmission with a B&M cooler. It has two transfer cases, a Klune 4:1 and an Atlas II 3.8 to allow super low gearing. The cab sports Mastercraft seats with 5-point harnesses and a twin-stick shifter for the transfer cases. Behind the driver seat is a securely mounted Power Tank, Hi-Lift jack and fuel cell.
