Lot #445 - This is a custom fabricated Corvette Grand Sport re-creation that was created from a 1965 Corvette convertible. Only 610 miles since total frame-off every nut and bolt restoration. Powered by a 388cid bowtie block machined, balanced, dynoed and assembled by a race engine shop. Engine has JE pistons, roller cam, roller rockers, exposed adjustable timing belt, anodized pro series Holley carburetor, power steering, aluminum big block radiator and custom fabricated headers with side pipes that have adjustable traps. The transmission is a Richmond 5-speed with a Tildon hydraulic clutch. Custom fabricated front and rear suspension with coilovers, adjustable 3-piece sway bar and adjustable front upper A-arms and unique shim system. Braking system consists of Wilwood calipers, 2-piece rotors, in car brake bias controls and Tildon master cylinders mounted by a custom machined frame-on firewall. Some of the other unique features include differential cooler, fire suppression system with in car controls, fuel cell with custom cage and Sparco race seats with 5-point harness. Many anodized billet components including battery box, fire extinguisher mount, coil mount, shifter knob, gauge and warning light bezels. Extensive fiberglass work with fender flares, bumper holes filled in, recessed tail lights without trim, glassed in floor and firewall, clam shelled window openings, speaker and radio filled in for gauges. Paint is PPG with stickers under the clear coat and dash cluster and glove box have been air brushed. Car is street legal. Original trim and VIN tag have been lost and the Virginia DMV has installed a new VIN tag with original VIN number. This is not a kit car.
