Description
Lot #779 - Showcasing a magnificent 1941 Willys coupe that looks both classy and mean at the same time. This is a professionally built street machine with serious power. The Outlaw body is beautiful with excellent panel fitment. The hood, doors and trunk lid open and close tightly. The striking exterior color combination is DuPont Cinnamon on top and black on the bottom. A fine green pinstripe separates the two colors. It has some unique exterior appointments that include running boards, mirrors and recessed rear taillights. It has a beautiful stance and sits on Billet Specialties GTX 15" wheels and massive Hoosier rear tires. The exterior is complimented with a completely custom tan leather interior with Ostrich inserts and Willys logos throughout. The dash has been painted to match the exterior and looks stunning with modern Dakota digital gauges. Other interior upgrades include a polished Flaming River steering column and steering wheel, keyless entry, power windows, heat and air conditioning cluster and a lot of billet accessories. The trunk compartment has been upholstered to match the interior. The detailed engine compartment housed the amazing Chevrolet 355cid with a Weiand 671 blower. This engine has a lot of horsepower. It starts, runs and sounds excellent. Some engine upgrades include two 750 Holly carburetors, Dart 2 spread port aluminum heads, custom valve covers, stud girdles, rev kit, Crane cam, Baker nitrated crank, Corilla rods, Cran ignition, Aeromotive fuel system and a billet pulley system. It breaths through a very expensive custom stainless exhaust system with ceramic headers and Hushpower mufflers. The engine is coupled with a B&M Turbo 350 transmission and B&M 3000 stall converter. It pounds the pavement through a Ford 9" rear end with 4.11 gears. The body sits on an Outlaw stage 3 powder coated chassis with tons of modifications. Some of these items include stainless A-arms and 4-link with coilovers at all corners. It has great stopping power with Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes.
