Description
Lot #624 - Matching numbers with lees than 64,000 original miles. Heavily optioned Q Code 351 Cleveland engine with 4 bolt mains, 3.25:1 traction-lok differential, C6 Cruise-O-Matic transmission, tilt steering wheel, bucket seats, power windows, dual racing mirrors and factory air conditioning. All verified by Marti Report which is included. One of the first cars to feature sequenced rear turn signals, and these actually work. One of only 69 cars built with this paint/trim combination. The '73 XR-7 convertible you see here was finished July 2, 1973, only three days from the end of the production run of Ford Motor Company convertibles which saw 25,177 cougar convertibles made during the 5-year run of Cougar convertibles. Only 4,449 were built in the 1973 model year. The rear stabilizer wing and functional GT hood scoop have been added for increased cosmetic appeal.
