Description
Lot #672 - In 1963 a Chrysler 300 convertible was used as a pace car for the famed Indianapolis 500 race. To commemorate this occasion, Chrysler built a limited number of 300 models known as Pace Setter edition. They produced approximately 1,900 convertibles, making this vehicle a rare find and a great example of luxury built by Chrysler in the 60s. The Pace Setter edition featured special interior and a checkered flag emblem placed under the 300 emblem. This vehicle features an automatic push-button transmission, bucket seats and wire wheels. This vehicle is a well preserved, older restoration of a solid and original vehicle. As an added feature to the 300, the original owner's manual, parts book, Ross Roy Data Book and original service manual are included.
