Lot #481 - This is a rare 1962 K10 1/2 Ton fleetside pickup truck with factory optioned 4-wheel drive and 283 V8. A two year painstaking, super high quality and documented, complete body-off restoration was completed in 2012 starting with a dry, rust free and straight original, matching numbers 4-wheel drive California truck. Less than 50 miles on the odometer since restoration, no nut, bolt or detail was left unattended. This truck has been restored to factory correct. Restored with mad attention to detail, even correct Chevrolet original material clips were restored and used to fasten seat covers instead of common, generic hog clips used by most upholstery shops. The seat material is also factory correct and sourced at a cost of over $100 per square yard. The truck is finished in its original, coded Cardinal Red(even though it presents orange) and the interior is a beautiful Harvest Gold. The bed is done to correct, original Chevrolet standards using newly milled southern yellow pine, and treated with linseed oil and lampblack pigmentation. Factory ordered options include 283 V8, four-on-the-floor manual transmission, AM radio and heater.
