Lot #403 - This FJ40 is body-off restored with just 600 miles driven since completion. It is comprehensively upgraded for greater off road performance and an incredible icon style look. Under the hood, the original 6 cylinder is replaced by a Chevrolet 350 V8 engine, featuring a 600cfm Holley carburetor, Edelbrock intake, custom long tube stainless steel headers, K&N filter, and more. The suspension has been redone with upgraded 6" shackles, dual KYB shocks at all four corners, new springs, new 33"x12" BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A tires, and a HEICO steering stabilizer. The body features fender flares to accommodate the big tires, and it is finished in custom metallic black with matching black roll bar, a new soft top and removable doors, and a new Warn winch. Inside the cabin features new Bestop seats, new carpeting, completely restored dash and gauges, an added tachometer, and an upgraded steering wheel, while retaining much of the cool original look.
