Description
Lot #1074 - Designed by Virgil Exner. The Plymouth line showed all of the attributes of what Exner sought to achieve. The most potent engine offered for the top-of-the-line Fury model was the fabulous 383cid version with the optional Cross-Ram induction manifold that delivered 330hp. The vehicle was purchased from the original owner from Mexico, brought back to USA where it went through a show level restoration. The seats and door panels had been protected since new with plastic covers and with the exception of the new seat tops, all of the distinctive original upholstery was re-used during the restoration and appears as new today. The powerful Cross-Ram induction V8 is nestled in an engine compartment that has been prepared with the correct factory finishes from the underside of the hood to the factory correct hardware, hoses, clamps and fasteners including a genuine Mopar 12 volt battery.
