Galen Govier inspected and decoded in 1996 with engine, transmission and other components correct and matching. One of 410 HEMI GTX hardtops in 1968. This car was the January 2001 MOPAR Collectors magazine cover car with full article titled "Burgundy Behemoth" describing the car's history and restoration. The body has been repainted once, but never been apart. The engine bay, interior and trunk have been restored. Features include factory original 426/425hp, two 4 barrel engine, 3-speed TorqueFlite transmission with console shifter, 8.75" rear with 3.23 gears and Sure-Grip differential, original interior, AM/FM with 8-track, rare original front bumper guards, red line tires and new exhaust system.
