Lot #963 - Restoration with attention to detail. This bus started off as a beautiful rust-free 1967 VW 21 window bus. One of the most unique rides ever built. This bus features a Geneburg 2,006cc engine, dual carburetors, completely rebuilt with 1,700 miles, disc brakes, 5-spoke wheels painted to match with characters on center caps, oil cooler, Freeway Flyer transmission which allows speeds of 75mph down the interstate, Xbox game station, icebox, pull back convertible top, invertor, full gauge package, 1,000 watt JVC sound system with dual amplifiers, component speakers, GPS and musical horn. The paint scheme is gorgeous, all the graphics are under clear coat and the body is laser straight. The paint work is phenomenal with no dings, dents or scratches. The bus drives, runs and shifts beautifully. It is very dependable. The bus has been kept in a private collection and has never been in the show circuit scene.
