Lot #116 - It all started when this '64 Chevelle was featured in Super Chevy Magazine April 2004, volume 33, #5 on pages 128 and 129. In 2009, the Chevelle got an all new drivetrain and paint job. This 1964 Chevelle SS Pro-Street has an all-aluminum 572cid engine with polished heads and manifold, aluminum Dart block, coated Hooker headers, polished stainless steel pipes exhaust, BeCool twin fan aluminum radiator and custom flat firewall. All pulleys are aluminum. Aluminum power steering pump, chrome hose covers, chrome 100amp alternator, K&N air breather, Holley dual feed carburetor and polished air conditioning compressor. MSD ignition, factory SS gauges all working, Auto Meter, shift light and 700R4 4-speed automatic racing transmission with 2,800 stall with adjustable B&M electronic lock UPC control in dash. Fiberglass cowl hood with ghost flames. 4.10 posi-traction, 12-bolt rear end, 4-wheel CPP disc power brakes with giant slotted and vented rotors and calipers. Laser straight all metal body. Painted aqua teal and platinum pearl white with ghost flames. All paint is smooth with hi-gloss clear. The underneath is painted aqua teal also. All exterior chrome and stainless steel is in excellent condition with NOS bumper guards front and rear. Side and rear windows are tinted. All new custom grey tweed interior with bucket seats, center console and black padded dash. Bucket seats and rear seats have red bow tie emblems with "SS 572" in white lettering. Door panels are custom 3-dimensional. Aluminum flamed steering wheel with mahogany wood and cross flagged horn button. AM/FM radio with four 6"x9" Infinity 3-way speakers powered by Kenwood 300w amp and two 10" Pioneer 350w speakers powered by 700w Kicker amp. Trunk has JVC 12-disc changer with remote. Original napkin holder under passenger dash and Malibu SS trim. 18" American Racing wheels with Mickey Thompson sportsman on the front and Mickey Thompson street slicks on the rear.
