Changes for the 1965 Riviera included the introduction of Gran Sport option which included the dual quad Super Wildcat 425cid V8 with 360hp, a numerically higher 3.42 axle ratio, dual exhaust and stiffer heavy duty suspension. Externally the headlamps were concealed behind the clamshell doors in the leading edges of each fender which looks beautiful next to the bold grille. Only 3,354 Rivieras were built with the Gran Sport package. This Riviera has a gorgeous color combination of black exterior and black interior. It is wrapped in the correct triple line bias ply tires. The white walls were dyed red for an amazing look.
