Description
Lot #373.2 - Project "Nasty Ram." This amazing Pro-Street machine is truly a one-of-a-kind. Everything on this truck is new and it has only test miles. Thousands of hours were spent on this rotisserie restoration that was done by a Dodge employee. The undercarriage is highly detailed. Many body modifications were made to the body such as the top was chopped 2", the fenders were extended 4", the rear was shortened 6", custom aluminum front grille, custom steel hood that was rolled and opens from the front, fabricated 6' bed with tonneau cover, fabricated tailgate with Dodge letters that is the third brake light and the lights are all LEDs from a semi-tractor. The sweeping body lines are laser-straight. It is painted in '03 Chrysler Stone White and shines excellent. The exterior is complimented with a custom gray interior that carries the Dodge theme. Some interior upgrades include custom gauges, Dodge Ram tilt steering column, steering wheel, bench seat, center console and overhead console. The door panels have the MOPAR Star indentation. The bed is completely carpeted and has storage compartments for the battery and cleaning supplies. The custom engine compartment houses a 1970 Mopar 340cid engine that has been rebuilt with many internal upgrades. Some upgrades include a Weiand high rise intake and 2x4 barrel Edelbrock carburetors. This engine runs excellent and sounds amazing through the ceramic headers and custom exhaust system. The larger exhaust tip comes out the center of the rear. The 1970 Mopar 904 transmission has been rebuilt with a Quick Silver manual shifter and 3,500 stall converter. The power is transferred through a Mopar 8 3/4" rear end with 3.55 gears built by Moser. The frame was completely fabricated and powder coated silver. The front suspension consists of a Mustang II front end and rack & pinion steering. The rear suspension is a 4-link lateral system with coilovers. The Pro Chrome springs and shocks look great. It has a Wilwood master cylinder for the braking system. The rear undercarriage was tubbed to accommodate the massive Mickey Thompson tires.
