Lot #374.2 - This 1969 Mustang Mach 1 was built to pound the pavement and look great doing it. This was a very extensive rotisserie restoration. The gaps are tight and the body is very straight. It is finished in House of Colors bright red. The black hood, spoiler and decals add the extra touch. Some exterior upgrades include Ringbrothers hood pins, racing mirrors and sequential tail lights. The red exterior is complimented with a beautiful black deluxe interior. Some upgrades include deluxe upholstery with a matching red stripe, wood grain gauge cluster and center console, Autometer gauges, air conditioning, tilt steering column with Ford Racing steering wheel, sound system, power windows, locks and trunk compartment. The trunk compartment is nicely detailed with carpeting and an Optima battery with off/on switch. The engine compartment is stunning. The firewall and inner fenders were smoothed and painted the same color as the exterior. It has Ringbrothers aluminum hinges and inner fender bolts which look great. The matching 351 block with many upgrades has 400hp. The dyno sheet is included. Some of the upgrades include Edelbrock aluminum heads and intake, polished water pump and a March serpentine pulley system. The engine is cooled by a Griffin aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The engine breathes through a complete Magnaflow exhaust system with ceramic headers. The engine is coupled with a Tremec 5-speed transmission. It has a hydraulic clutch for easy shifting. The power hits the pavement through the Ford 9" rear end with posi-traction and 3.90 gears. The front suspension is a complete Mustang II system with rack & pinion steering and tubular A-arms with adjustable coilover front shocks. It has a complete Wilwood braking system including the master cylinder, 13" rotors all the way around with 6-piston calipers in the front and 4-piston calipers in the rear.
