Description
Lot #618 - In the beginning when ingenuity and creativity ruled the early Hot Rod years, Rat Rods prevailed. This beautiful example of a 1928 Ford Model A pickup has it all. Chopped, channeled, all-steel body with custom roof, homemade intake manifold with 2 Stromberg 2 barrel carbs, home garage built exhaust system, custom column shift 3-speed transmission, small block stock engine and a really cool look about it. Interior is ruby red including headliner and tonneau cover, exterior body and windows stock 1928 vintage. Custom Ace Hardware black primer paint job, pin stripping and art by Doug Doors. This Rat Rod was the cover and feature story in Nov. 2007 Ol'Skool Rodz, the Hot Rod Kulture Magazine as well as Best of Show winner at Barris Car show in 2007. Awarded Best Bomb Sultan Car show 2004. Turnkey, fun to drive, never gets hot, literally maintenance free, never wash it, dust it off and take it down the road, always noticed and never forgotten. Trophies and magazine go with car.
