Description
Lot #65.1 - Powered by the original and freshly rebuilt L74 327/300hp motor and 2-speed Powerglide transmission, this beauty is both cosmetically and mechanically sound. Originally assembled at the Los Angeles plant, this SS Impala spent all of its life in the south where it was located in Nashville, TN prior to restoration. Very careful consideration was taken during the restoration process to preserve the authenticity of this spectacular SS convertible. From the original AFB carburetor with glass fuel filter to the factory T3 headlights. Even the factory undercoating was preserved to indicate the integrity of its original owner. This beauty has never been wrecked or damaged and retains all of its original sheet metal. The SS Impala displays crisp body lines and all doors open and close precisely. It received a show quality repaint of factory correct Ermine White which matches the C color code on the cowl tag. This SS Impala comes well documented with its original Protect-O-Plate and owner's manual and with an extensive list of highly appointed factory options including working air conditioning, tilt steering wheel, power windows, remote mirror, power convertible top with glass window, power steering, power brakes, working AM radio, California front bumper, seat belts and SS spinner hubcaps. From the Frank Collection.
