Description
Lot #57 - As postwar production resumed in America, the Ford Motor Company offered the Lincoln Zephyr series of automobiles as its absolute top of the line models and totally unique from any other Ford of this era. These cars were powered by Lincolns exclusive 267cid V12 engine and built to compete head on with the products from Cadillac and Packard. The post war version of the Lincoln V12 saw many improvements from its earlier years and was a reliable powerplant known for its smooth operation and the ability to idle and accelerate from as low as 400rpm up through the vast torque curve. This car was a well-cared for, undamaged original when a total restoration was undertaken in the mid-nineties. Both cosmetic needs and comprehensive mechanical rebuild were completed to achieve this beautiful result. This car runs and drives without a problem.
