Special ordered in 1989 to be the exact car featured in Volkswagens early publicity photos and prominently featured on the cover of the 1990 showroom brochure. This car was never in any inclement weather in its 22 years of ownership evidenced by the near new appearance of the undercarriage. Never damaged or modified in any way and great maintenance through the years. These cars are seldom seen with low original production. Of particular note is the fact this Cabriolet is equipped with factory air conditioning, not often seen in a Cabriolet.
