Lot #37.1 - This truck was built by the owner of a body shop for his own use. He drove the truck since new then totally dismantled it for a complete nut and bolt restoration before applying the Viper Yellow paint. From new window glass and rubbers to new axle bearings and seals, this truck has been reborn. All body and chassis parts were individually sandblasted, acid dipped, primed, painted and clear coated before assembly. The only original body parts are the cab and hood. Every other body part, except for the grille surround, was factory new old stock for this restoration, not aftermarket replacement. Even the bumpers and bed were NOS. The famed 351M engine, having been thoroughly race shop rebuilt provides brutal power as heard through the full flow headers and damper controlled turbo mufflers. The sound is soft at idle, throaty on take off and raspy on hard acceleration. This truck sounds great. The rims are the highly sought after original classic aluminum Mickey Thompson Performance M/T's, they are not copies. The brush bar is a 1970's original.
