Lot #640.1 - This rare and collectible 1931 Ford Model AA tanker truck features Texaco colors and logos. Powered by a 201cid Inline 4 cylinder engine with a 4-speed transmission. The engine features an updraft carburetor, upgraded 12-volt electrical system, 4-blade fan and electric starter. The engine can be hand cranked/started if necessary. This truck rolls on a 157" wheelbase frame with 20" disc wheels and tires with oversized brakes. This transport tanker has 4 holding tanks for gasoline or whatever the customer may have requested. 1931 was the last and best year for the Model A. This rare tanker is one of very few left. It has undergone an extensive restoration and is now ready for your classic collection or to just drive for fun.
