Description
Lot #440 - Here is a pristine, completely restored example of one of Ford's shortest lived performance automobiles. The Boss 351 was produced for around ten months with a total of 1,806 units coming down the assembly line. As shown in the Marti Report, this car was ordered from Nebraska. It has since undergone a total restoration and rebuild, with every bolt having been removed or replaced during the rotisserie restoration. The engine was done up by Johnny Cleveland's Bracket Engines. Transmission and rear end were completely built along with all brakes and accessories. Paint is wet sanded base clear with painted stripes. Wheels are 17" Magnum 500s with updated radials. The car drives as good as it sounds with around 400 miles on the rebuild work, a piece of Blue Oval performance history. The Boss 351 was originally track tested as one of the hottest 1/4 mile Mustangs out of the show room.
