Lot #419.2 - This is a re-creation that was built as a tribute to the original 1964 Thunderbolt that ruled the drag strips in the mid 60's. This car was built to correct specifications. The only exception is the black interior instead of tan. Features a 427cid side oiler, 4-speed Top Loader transmission, dual 4 barrel Holley carburetors, Thunderbolt intake manifold, cold air intakes, fiberglass fenders, fiberglass tear drop hood, aluminum front bumper, fixed plexiglas rear side window, chrome 427 valve covers, Thunderbolt air cleaner, custom built exhaust headers by Bob Butler, trunk mounted battery, dash mounted tachometer, radio delete, heater delete and side mirror delete. Built on this rust free chassis with 2,000 mile on the motor. It is street legal and has not been drag raced it has been kept in a collection. The motor has recently been freshened and the carburetors rebuilt. The vacum advance has been removed and an electronic ignition was installed.
