Lot #331 - This is an all original, less than 36,500 original miles example of a classic 1965 K Code Fairlane sport coupe. Recently repainted in a rich burgandy with a white top, the finish is great. Even the wheels are factory original. The all original interior is immaculate white with factory bucket seats and console. Aftermarket oil, amp and temperature gauges have been added to supplement the factory warning lights, but the factory dash was left untouched and is in great condition. The car is powered by the extremely rare 289cid high performance solid lifter V8 with 271hp. Transmission is a 4-speed manual, with original linkage, including lock out trigger. Very few 1965 Fairlanes were built with the powertrain and she is a pristine example of a very rare vehicle. This car runs and drives great and nothing can compare to the sound of a high revving solid lifter small block with dual exhaust and four barrel carburetor. A true blast from the past.
