Lot #1305.5 - Tribute to Harry Miller built to represent a truck if INDY had a truck series race in 1932. Built by Stingers Hot Rod Shop, Indianapolis, IN. Took 3 1/2 years with final assembly and paint by Rad Rods by Troy. 90% hand built truck is known as "Miller Hauler Special". Shown at Grand National Rodster show in 2010, Detroit Autorama in 2010 and Goodguys Early Truck of the Year in 2010. Engine is Donovan 4 cylinder with Tremec T5 and quick change rear end, 19" Dayton wire wheels, 12" Bendix style brakes with custom machined fins, Diamond T dash featuring custom Classic Instruments. Body is wedge shaped chop, stretched cowl, custom hood, custom sides with many polished louvers top and bottom. Awards include Blackie Gejeian Award of Excellence, Best Detail, Best Rod Truck (Grand Nation Roadster Show), 1st place Altered Pickup/Outstanding Detail/Outstanding Display/Outstanding Altered Rod (Detroit Autorama), Truck of the Year 2010 (Goodguys).
