Lot #1305.3 - The "Caditour," a 1959 Cadillac Sedan DeVille with a matching trailer. It's highly modified, built from the ground up. Beginning with an A.E. Morrison special-built chassis with Mustang II rack & pinion steering. The engine is a Street & Performance 502cid fuel injected Chevy big block, mated to a 4L60 transmission. Tranny was completely updated 2007 with shift kit. Rear end is a 9" Ford 3.55 gear ratio, with Strange posi-traction, 31-spline Strange axles and 4 wheel Wilwood disc brakes. Car has tranny cooler and Vintage Air air conditioning. Body was modified to fit the specialty chassis. Doors shaved and hood is fitted with a '90 Monza scoop. Entire car and trailer were built using the best parts of four parts cars. Car and trailer both have air ride by Air Ride Technologies, with full operation from the front center console. Dash instruments are a Dakota Digital package. The doors, car trunk, trailer trunk and hood are powered and controlled by a 9-way Dakota Digital remote. Car and trailer have LED remote controlled lights located under the frames. All tail lights were replaced with LED tail lights. Entire interior throughout the car and trailer are genuine leather, including the headliner, dash and rear window. Leather Cadillac "wreath" logos are located in both trunks and car ceiling. Rear window is custom etched with "Caditour." Custom Motorola radio fits the '59 dash, with a 6-CD changer in trunk. Wheels are Kelsey Hayes crosswire wheels on car and single wire on trailer. In 2007, the front and rear grilles on car and trailer were removed, disassembled, individually chromed and meticulously reattached. Paint is House of Kolor Blue Blood Red. Totally repainted in 2009 with same color. Imperfections were fixed, along with a full finish of four coats of Standox premium clear coat.
