Description
Lot #1017 - Made famous as the opening car to the show "American Icon, The Hot Rod," starring Chip Foose. Also featured at the Petersen museum for the 75th anniversary of the '32 Ford. Show stopping black paint over a real steel body. Custom leather 2-tone interior by Eddie Salcido. One-off Perimeter front brakes on real magnesium Halibrand wheels from the 60's. 270cid Red Ram that came out of a 1940 Ford that was raced in the 60's. 11:1 compression, Schneider cam, four Rochester 2-jet carbs, Ducoil distributor and Speed Gems adapter mated to a 4-speed transmission. Alternator runs off of drive shaft. DuVall windshield and smoothed cowl. Shaved door handles and decklid. All components were brushed nickel plated. Exhaust is baffled and is street legal. Only 300 miles since completion.
