Description
Lot #1302.1 - While Jimmy Richardson enlisted Classic Automotive Restoration Specialists to build this car, he had several cool ideas of his own. It features a unique Coca Cola Red finish, a 389cid Tri-Power V8, custom 12-bolt Moser posi-traction rear axle, custom SSBC 4-wheel disc brakes with GTO laser etched into the red calipers, Vintage Air, Autometer custom gauges, totally hidden custom windshield wiper system, 17' Budnik wheels, custom embroidered GTO logos sewn into the seating, Borg-Warner Super T-10 4-speed transmission, billet Wizard radiator with 4 custom fans to keep things cool, custom finished trunk compartment with spare mount, Kenwood sound system with amplifier, CD changer and satellite radio. What really makes this car unique is the $40,000 in billet aluminum custom made components. Look at the grille, both side have been machined from large chunks of billet aluminum. The rear tail light panel, the console, dash, armrest bases, dash grab bar, air cleaner and even the valve covers have all been custom made and in several cases the Pontiac emblem and 6.5 liter emblem have been milled into the billet surfaces. Complete copies of the build record and digital photos are available. From the Jimmy Richardson Collection.
