Lot #408.1 - Just obtained from the original fanactical owner, this rare "Greenwood Corvette" has just 3,900 miles from new and is a mint unrestored example of a special ordered, one-off, performance built Corvette. Mr Robert Zellers of Grove City, PA purchased this car new in 1988 from Ken Rummel Chevrolet of Sanford, Florida and the local dealer to Greenwood Corvettes, the famous hi-performance Corvette racing and street hi-po center. Mr.Zellers immediatley delivered the car brand new to Greenwood for the complete "Phase II" conversion consisting of extensive modifications to the original motor and further directed the car to get a full Greenwood conversion consisting of the Aero Body Kit, upgraded suspension and brakes, a 3.73 rear gear change, exhaust headers with free-flow mufflers, additional sound proofing, 3-piece modular wheels mounting wider tires, 3-point racing seat belt system and more. A very rare additional Greenwood modification was done also, a custom two tone full leather interior, possibly the only one with this feature. Extensive documentation including personal correspondence with John Greenwood, supporting this cars rarity and originality is included and a recent major service has just been completed. This Greenwood Corvette is a blast to drive, much different than what you may expect from a Corvette of this vintage. The condition, top to bottom is absolutely as new and from the bottom side looks to have never even been in the rain. Rare, exciting and still affordable.
