Description
Lot #408 - There cannot exist a much finer example of the ever popular 1967 Chevelle Hardtop. This 66,606 original mile, totally unrestored Malibu is surely one of a very few that still maintains incredibly nice original factory paint, a mint near new original interior and a chassis and engine compartment that has never been detailed in any way. The original owner ordered this car from Crescent Chevrolet in his home town of Des Moines, Iowa and his choices of color, trim and equipment could not be much better. Finished in what is argueably the best '67 color, Marina Blue, accented by a black vinyl top and black interior, this is one striking car making it easy to see why these cars have remained so popular thru the ages. Very well optioned starting with the venerable 283 V-8, Powerglide automatic transmission, power steering and brakes, factory air conditioning, AM-FM radio, bumper guards, tinted glass and mag-style full wheel covers, smooth quiet operation and totally functional including ice-cold factory air. Here is a surviving 45 year old car that has been stored and maintained properly its entire life.
