Lot #327.1 - This vehicle is one-off build. This car is in beautiful condition inside and out, every detail of this vehicle has been examined and restored in such a way that this car looks like a factory vehicle right off the Volkswagen production line. The three door conversion was designed and built by Chris Clarkson and after many different renderings this Light Key Lime Green beetle was born. The interior is done in original vintage style with a little tiki twist. The seats are done in the 64-66 platinum vinyl with plaid mesh door panels, the headliner is constructed out of hemp style material and really sets off the interior. This is a factory 4-speed car with a nicely built 1800cc power plant. The engine bay is also in show condition with amazing attention to detail including the custom painted woodgrain firewall and fan shroud. The motor is fine tuned and in terrific running condition. This is a great running vehicle that can be driven daily and shown at any VW shows you might stop by.
