Description
Lot #30.5 - This 1990 Chevrolet 454SS is a professionally built, well-sorted, moderately modified custom with 60,363 original miles. The 454 was replaced when new with the legendary 502cid Chevrolet big block engine that is balanced and blueprinted. This truck was built for performance as well as longevity and practicality. Engine enhancements include Edelbrock aluminum heads, Hooker headers, 3" free flow exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, Comp roller cam with .510 lift, and MSD ignition. These combine to produce 350hp and 410ft/lbs of torque, with potential for much more. Putting that power to the ground is a GM Super TH400 transmission featuring Gear Vendors splitter with overdrive providing rock solid dependability. Additional performance enhancements include GM 14 semi-floater rear end with hardened axles, Power Stop anti-lock brakes, and 20" custom wheels and tires, and a custom ventilated hood. A 40 gallon fuel cell has been installed to ensure long range trips are effortless. The interior of the vehicle is stock with the exception of a tachometer, and the custom two-tone leather interior is in excellent condition. This three-owner truck has been recently serviced and always stored in a climate controlled garage. Absolutely everything works and it looks and drives great. This is a special, dependable hot rod that has the versatility to go fast as well as haul and tow like a regular truck. The best of both worlds.
