Description
Lot #41.2 - From the producer of the 2000 major motion picture "Play It To The Bone", starring Antonio Banderas, Woody Harrelson and Lucy Liu, written and directed by Ron Shelton. This was the hero car that Banderas, Harrelson and Liu sat in for most of the film. There were two cars used in the film, a 71 and a 72. After the film, the director bought the 71 and the producer bought the 72. Trim Tag says it was originally Baroque Gold with black top and interior. Was repainted Mopar Sassy Grass Green per the director's choice. Interior was left original and slightly tired consistent with the story. Car had engine rebuild and full mechanical check before filming. It ran great. Fun, drivable movie car with great provenance, can be restored or driven as is. Protect-O-Plate and original warranty papers. Not matching numbers motor, 455 cid V8, air conditioning not working, power steering, power windows, power brakes, sport steering, rally pack, buckets, Ram Air, dual trumpet exhaust, California car. Sold October 26, 1971 at Bruck Olds, Hollywood, California.
