Lot #27 - This 1942 Harley-Davidson WLA "45 Magnum" custom chopper has a 45 bottom end, with the Sportster top end. This bike has a Mikuni 38mm flat side carburetor and a HD dish air cleaner. It has been converted to a zero loss oiling system, with new crank bearings and thrust washers. Uses roller bearing lifters. It has been converted to the standard 12-volt system. It has Accel plugs and wires and runs a distributor-based ignition system. It is a "suicide shift" with foot clutch and "Betty Boop" controls a rebuilt 3-speed transmission.
