When you order a Ford GT from the company’s renowned Dearborn, Michigan, factory, there are dozens of options to choose from to make it uniquely yours. In addition to the automaker’s many Ford GT special editions and series honoring its historic Le Mans wins and racing heritage, it comes in eight different exterior color options; eight different stripe options; three different finishes for the front, rear and side lowers; six different wheels and four different interior themes.
For example, Lot #757, a 2019 Ford GT selling with No Reserve at the 2022 Houston Auction, October 20-22 at NRG Center, was ordered with over $98,000 in options. Among those options was an upgrade to the extended color palette, which allows you to have the Ford GT painted any color your heart desires. As a result, this GT is finished in Matte Black with silver matte stripes.
As for the interior, Ford offers four different options, each with its own unique features. This Ford GT was equipped with the 400A Launch Control interior package. The interior theme includes Ebony and orange leather-wrapped carbon-fiber seats with pillowed leather inserts and head restraints with a debossed GT logo and 6-point seat belt harness anchors. Other highlights include an Ebony and orange leather-wrapped instrument panel, pillars and headliner with exposed matte carbon-fiber door sills, air register pods and center console. The interior also features matte Frozen White appliqués on the instrument panel and the seat X-brace. Completing the look is an Ebony Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with anodized black shift paddles and a leather-wrapped horn pad with a debossed GT logo.
This GT was also offered with the gloss exterior carbon-fiber package, which means the car’s front, rear and side lowers are finished in gloss carbon fiber. Adding to the look of this sinister Ford GT are a set of silver Brembo brake calipers and 20-inch forged wheels with gloss paint.
Each GT comes standard with the 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engine that pumps out a whopping 647 horsepower and 550 ft/lbs of torque tucked behind the driver and passenger seat, earning the GT its status as a mid-engine supercar. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and can hit 60 mph in under 3 seconds and achieve a top speed of over 216 mph.
According to the consignor, the 2019 Ford GT offered at the 2022 Houston Auction has traveled just over 5,000 miles in its lifetime, and the sale includes a black indoor car cover. The Ford GT is one of the world’s most exclusive supercars, and this one can be yours, selling with No Reserve at the Houston Auction, October 20-22. Register to bid today.
